This morning Kelly and I woke up early and headed to the Nashville airport with our Bethel compatriots. Overall both flights were fairly uneventful outside of an apparent wager on our pilots part to see who could hit the runway the fastest with as few casualties. When we stepped onto Salvadorian soil our brothers greeted us like family they haven’t seen in a year, which is what we are to each other! That’s one of the reasons I like this trip so much, and incidentally something the Salvadorians have in common with our Long Island brothers. The love they have for you is contagious! You find yourself loving them before you really get to know them!

Tomorrow will be more eventful so come back to see what our Hero does here in El Salvador!
