The Secret to Deep Relationships. A big part of our new young adult ministry is building intimate and transparent relationships with each other. The problem is most of us have never had these types of relationships so we don’t really know how to go about it. This article answers part of the puzzle. If you’re kind of lost on what to do to have these intimate relationships this article will help.

Not Learning to Lament: Comparing the Psalms to Songbooks provides some interesting research. Our songbooks don’t match up with Israel’s songbook very well. We’re way off on the songs where we cry out to God and the songs where we thank Him and express our trust in Him, but maybe not in the way you’re thinking. How did we arrive here and what, if anything, do we need to do?

What do newborns need to know? Pretty much what we all need to be reminded of! LifeKid President is awesome, you’re awesome and corn dogs are awesome! Check out Kid President’s latest video A Letter To A Person on Their First Day Here.

Is Our Worship Sacred or Superficial? The people in Amos’ day were a lot like us at least in some of their beliefs about worship. Why do you come to worship? Maybe this post will help take you deeper in your understanding of the purpose of worship.

The takeaway for me from Dear Daddy in Seat 16C is that I need to be more conscious of what people are going thru. Because of the way this man acted he completely changed this woman’s day. We can be a blessing to the people we come in contact with or we can be just another face in the crowd. I usually don’t have a problem with being mean to people, but stepping out of my comfort zone to bless them is a different story. Notice the impact one man’s actions had on an entire family.
